Mesa, AZ (January 11, 2026) – A bicyclist sustained injuries following a hit-and-run incident that occurred on Friday evening on W Javelina Ave. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after 5:03 p.m., where they discovered the cyclist injured and the involved vehicle no longer present.
Medical personnel treated the bicyclist on site before arranging transport to a nearby hospital for further care. The extent of the injuries has not yet been made public. The vehicle involved reportedly fled the scene before authorities arrived, and Mesa police have launched a search to identify the driver.
