Metairie, LA (January 11, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a reported truck crash on Saturday morning near the loop connecting North Causeway Blvd to Veterans Blvd in Metairie.
The incident occurred around 8:23 a.m. on January 10. According to dispatch audio, a passerby reported a white truck that appeared to have wrecked near the Causeway loop. Fire units, including Engine 188, were dispatched to the scene as responders worked to pinpoint the exact crash location along the I-10 Service Rd East corridor.
Upon arrival, emergency personnel assessed the situation and provided aid to those involved. At least one person sustained injuries, though the severity has not been officially confirmed. The white truck reportedly sustained visible damage from the collision.
Traffic in the area experienced minor disruptions while first responders managed the scene. Authorities have not yet released information regarding the cause of the crash or whether any citations were issued.
