Miami, FL (January 9, 2026) – A serious incident on westbound State Road 836 near NW 42nd Ave early Wednesday morning left four police officers injured, prompting a large-scale emergency response from multiple rescue units and command staff.
The crash occurred around 6:15 a.m. during the height of the morning commute. Dispatch audio confirmed that Rescue 10, Rescue 20, Rescue 3, and a Chief unit all responded to the scene following reports of multiple officers down.
