Millcreek, UT (January 20, 2026) – A tragic auto-pedestrian accident in Millcreek on Sunday claimed the life of an adult victim after they were struck by a vehicle along 3900 South.

The incident occurred near 1215 East on January 18. Officers from the Unified Police Department responded to the scene and found the pedestrian critically injured. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital but sadly succumbed to their injuries.

Authorities confirmed that the driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. As a result of the incident, 3900 South was temporarily closed between 1100 East and 1200 East to allow emergency crews and investigators to work safely.

The cause of the crash remains under active investigation, and no additional details have been released at this time.
