Carmichael, CA (July 11, 2026) – A two-vehicle accident with reported minor injuries occurred on Saturday evening at the intersection of Sunset Ave and Kenneth Ave in Carmichael. The collision was reported at approximately 5:27 p.m.
Initial dispatch information indicated a gray Jeep and a silver sedan were involved. Reports stated the silver sedan allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign before striking the Jeep. Debris was scattered across the roadway, and towing services were requested for the damaged vehicles.
The California Highway Patrol later updated the collision to indicate minor injuries. The identities of those involved and the extent of the injuries had not been released at the time of publication. The cause of the wreck remains under review as additional information becomes available.
