Mobile, AL (February 2, 2026) – A late-night accident prompted an emergency response along southbound Interstate 65 near Airport Boulevard in Mobile after a serious collision was discovered Sunday night. The incident was reported at approximately 11:03 p.m. between Dauphin Street and Airport Boulevard, where authorities encountered a damaged vehicle at the scene.
Upon arrival, Emergency Responders from Mobile, including Mobile Fire-Rescue and emergency medical services, worked to secure the area and assess the situation. Initial information indicated that a red passenger vehicle had been involved in a head-on style collision and struck a guardrail along the southbound lanes. The driver was found unresponsive when crews reached the vehicle.
