Garner, NC (July 21, 2026) – Several people were evaluated after a two-vehicle collision on Monday morning, July 20, on North Carolina Highway 50. The accident occurred shortly before 10:43 a.m. near Arbor Greene Drive and Benson Road.
A Honda Accord and a Jeep Cherokee were traveling south when the Accord struck the rear of the Jeep. The north side of North Carolina Highway 50 was closed at Arbor Greene Drive following the wreck.
The Accord driver was taken to a hospital for evaluation after reportedly experiencing a medical condition. The Cherokee driver and passengers were also examined for injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.
The roadway reopened shortly after noon.
