Escambia Co., FL (July 17, 2026) – A 35-year-old Pensacola man was killed on Wednesday evening, July 15, in a collision involving a moped and a motorcycle on New Warrington Road.
The crash occurred near Twin Oaks Drive and was reported at approximately 5:15 p.m. The moped rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 34-year-old woman from Mobile who was riding as a passenger on the moped suffered serious injuries. The 37-year-old motorcycle rider, a San Antonio man, was also seriously injured. Both were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office, EMS, and Fire Rescue responded to the scene. Authorities continue investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
