Troy, MO (August 12, 2026) – A 43-year-old woman was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash Monday morning, August 10, on Highway 47 at Woodcrest Lane in Lincoln County. The collision occurred around 7:55 a.m. and involved a 1996 Dodge Dakota and a 2023 Toyota Sequoia.
According to the crash report, the driver of the Toyota failed to yield while making a turn and pulled into the path of the Dodge. The 43-year-old woman was an occupant of the Dodge, according to the report. She was taken by Lincoln County Ambulance to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital in Lake St. Louis for treatment.
Both vehicles sustained damage and were removed from the scene by a towing service. This is a developing story. We are thinking of the injured woman as she continues her recovery.
