Slymar, CA (July 23, 2026) — A Wednesday morning car crash involving two vehicles disrupted traffic on southbound I-5 near the I-210 interchange on Wednesday, July 22.
California Highway Patrol dispatch records show the collision was reported shortly after 7 a.m. A silver Toyota Camry and an orange Dodge were found in the high-occupancy vehicle lane, with one of the vehicles also partially blocking the slow lane.
Los Angeles County fire personnel were contacted. Dispatch notes indicate that one person declined fire department assistance.
Both vehicles were moved from the HOV lane, and the Toyota was later towed from the scene. The circumstances leading to the collision were not provided and remain under investigation.
