Chesapeake, VA (August 27, 2026) – Two people were seriously injured on Wednesday morning, August 26, in a near head-on crash in the 100 block of Centerville Turnpike South in Chesapeake. Police and fire crews responded at approximately 9:15 a.m.
According to the Chesapeake Police, a pickup truck was traveling northbound while a small SUV was heading southbound when the two vehicles collided near the center of the roadway.
The drivers of both vehicles, a man and a woman, suffered serious injuries and were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Detectives said the investigation remains ongoing.
