Sacramento, CA (August 29, 2026) – Emergency crews responded late on Thursday morning, August 27, to a two-vehicle crash on Madison Avenue near Hemlock Street in Sacramento County. The collision was reported at approximately 11:53 a.m.
According to California Highway Patrol dispatch records, the crash involved a silver Ford Fusion and a gold Lexus. Fire crews arrived at the scene, and CHP later upgraded the incident from a collision with unknown injuries to one requiring an ambulance response.
One lane was temporarily blocked while responders worked at the scene. Both vehicles were later moved onto Hemlock Street near Madison Avenue, and the roadway was reported clear shortly after noon. Investigators continue reviewing the crash.
