Houston, TX (September 13, 2026) – A 61-year-old man succumbed to his injuries on Friday morning, September 11, when his motorcycle collided with an SUV in the 9100 block of Irvington Boulevard in north Houston around 7 a.m.
The man was riding a black Honda motorcycle northbound when it struck a black Jeep Compass traveling southbound. The collision happened as the Jeep driver attempted to turn left. Emergency medical personnel pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene.
His identity remains pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The 30-year-old woman driving the Jeep remained at the scene and showed no signs of intoxication. She was questioned and released. The investigation remains ongoing.
