South Whitehall Township (June 26, 2026) – Multiple people were injured on Wednesday, June 24, following a collision involving a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle along Route 22 in the westbound lanes near mile marker 319.7.
Authorities said the crash occurred shortly before 11:30 p.m. and involved a motorcycle and a car colliding for reasons that have not yet been released. Emergency crews responded to the scene, and multiple injured individuals were transported to area hospitals for treatment. Officials have not provided updates on their conditions.
Westbound lanes were temporarily shut down around the crash scene while responders worked to assist the injured and clear the roadway. Traffic was later reopened after approximately one hour of closure. The Pennsylvania State Police continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
