Franklin Township, PA (June 22, 2026) – An afternoon crash involving a car and a motorcycle left a male rider injured at the intersection of New Castle Road and Unionville Road in Franklin Township. The police reported the crash around 1:45 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, after reports of a vehicle versus motorcycle crash.
Responders arrived shortly after and found one male motorcycle rider on the ground who was reported to be conscious. A medical helicopter was requested and later launched to assist with the response. A second ambulance was also requested for a 12-year-old girl who was reported to have neck and back pain following the crash.
The girl was taken by ambulance to UPMC Children’s for further treatment. The male rider was flown to a hospital for care. Additional details about their conditions were not immediately available. Authorities are actively investigating the collision.
