Fort Lauderdale, FL (July 6, 2026) – An early morning collision claimed the life of a motorcyclist early on Saturday morning, July 4, following a crash involving a vehicle in Fort Lauderdale. The police responded at approximately 2:45 a.m. to the 3000 block of West Broward Boulevard after reports of a collision between a motorcycle and another vehicle.
According to the Fort Lauderdale Police Department, officers arrived to find the motorcyclist had died at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle remained at the location following the crash. The circumstances leading up to the collision have not yet been released. The department’s Traffic Homicide Unit is continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
