How Motorcycle and Large Truck Crashes Can Lead to Serious Injuries
Crashes involving motorcycles and large commercial vehicles pose serious risks due to differences in vehicle size and protection. Motorcycles provide less physical protection for riders, while tractor-trailers have larger blind spots and require more distance to slow down.
After a crash involving these types of vehicles, details such as roadway conditions, vehicle positions, and damage patterns may help explain what happened. Traffic flow, visibility, and driver actions can also be reviewed to understand how the collision occurred. Safety awareness and careful driving around larger vehicles can help reduce the chance of dangerous roadway incidents.
