Porter, NY (July 1, 2026) – A 20-year-old man from Youngstown was seriously hurt in a motorcycle collision on Monday morning on Braley Road in the Town of Porter. Emergency units were called to the roadway at about 10:10 a.m. following reports of the two-vehicle crash.
According to investigators, the Youngstown man was riding a dirt bike and attempted to cross Braley Road through a tree line before entering the path of a westbound pickup truck. He was found unconscious when emergency personnel arrived and received medical treatment at the roadside before being airlifted to Erie County Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
The pickup truck driver was not reported to have been hurt. The identity of the motorcyclist has not been released.
Investigators are continuing to examine the circumstances that led to the collision. We are thinking of the injured rider and wish him strength and a full recovery.
