Topeka, KS (July 5, 2026) – An evening crash involving a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle left one person dead on Friday night, July 3, in Topeka. The police arrived at the area of NE Sumner Street and NE Seward Street just before 9 p.m. after receiving a report of the collision.
According to the Topeka Police Department, two people were involved in the crash, and both were transported to a local hospital. One occupant sustained serious injuries, while the other suffered life-threatening injuries. Officials later confirmed that one of the individuals was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
