Louisville, KY (June 28, 2026) – A motorcyclist was injured in a hit-and-run collision on Friday evening, June 26, on Interstate 265 South near Bardstown Rd in Louisville. Officers responded to the scene at approximately 6:15 p.m.
According to the Louisville Metro Police Department, the motorcycle rider was struck by a pickup truck on the interstate. The pickup driver fled the scene after the collision. The injured motorcyclist was taken to University Hospital with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening. Authorities later identified the pickup driver, who was taken into custody. The investigation remains ongoing.
The police continue to review the circumstances surrounding the collision as the investigation proceeds.
