San Luis Obispo, CA (July 11, 2026) – A hit-and-run accident involving a motorcycle was reported on Saturday afternoon on southbound US-101 near the Ab exit in San Luis Obispo. The collision was reported at approximately 4:06 p.m.
Initial dispatch information indicated a vehicle struck a motorcycle and left the roadway afterward. Reports from witnesses described the suspected vehicle as a dark-colored Land Rover Defender, while another report identified a white sedan as being involved. Three vehicles were later listed in connection with the collision.
The motorcycle and other vehicles blocked all three lanes for a period of time before traffic was restored. One person was later reported with minor injuries and was being admitted for treatment. The person involved in the hit-and-run had not been identified at the time of publication. The investigation into the collision remains ongoing.
