What Is Commonly Reviewed in Motorcycle Collision Investigations
Motorcycle crashes at intersections are often examined closely because multiple traffic movements can occur simultaneously. Investigators typically assess vehicle speeds, right-of-way decisions, and visibility conditions leading up to the collision.
Because motorcycles offer limited physical protection, even moderate impacts can result in severe or fatal injuries. Roadway design, signage, and driver awareness are often key factors reviewed during reconstruction.
Authorities also rely on physical evidence, witness statements, and vehicle damage patterns to understand how the crash developed and whether any contributing factors were present.
