Indianapolis, IN (June 10, 2026) – A motorcyclist died after a collision involving a black vehicle on Monday night, June 8, on the south side of Indianapolis.
According to police, officers responded to South East Street around 8:45 p.m. after receiving reports of a crash. Emergency units arrived and found a motorcycle and a black vehicle with heavy damage in the roadway.
Investigators said the motorcyclist was traveling northbound on Southeast Street at high speed before the collision. A driver in the black vehicle was attempting to travel westbound across Southeast Street when the two vehicles collided.
The motorcyclist, identified only as an adult male, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the black vehicle suffered minor injuries and was evaluated by medics at the location. Authorities said the driver is expected to recover.
Police do not believe drugs or alcohol contributed to the crash. The incident remains under review by authorities. We extend our sincere condolences to the family of the deceased.
