What Investigators Review in Motorcycle Freeway Collisions
Motorcycle crashes on highways are typically examined closely due to the severity of injuries involved. Investigators often review lane positions, merging activity, and visibility conditions leading up to the impact.
Physical evidence, such as skid marks, debris fields, and vehicle damage patterns, helps reconstruct the sequence of events leading to the collision. Traffic flow and roadway design are also considered, especially in high-speed freeway environments. These investigations can take time as authorities work to determine how both vehicles came into contact and what factors may have contributed.
