Motorcyclist Killed in Crash at E Speedway Blvd and N Richey Blvd in Tucson, AZ

The police identified the motorcyclist as Jaycob Christopher Nieto. Investigators said a silver 2021 Hyundai Tucson was traveling west on Speedway Boulevard and attempting to turn left onto Richey Boulevard when it entered the motorcycle’s path.

According to investigators, the 60-year-old driver of the Hyundai was not impaired. Officials said the driver’s failure to yield while turning left, along with excessive speed by the motorcycle, were identified as the primary factors in the collision. No charges or citations have been issued. The investigation into the wreck remains ongoing as detectives continue reviewing the evidence.
