What Is Reviewed After a Bicycle Crash?
Bicycle crashes are reviewed by examining roadway conditions, traffic patterns, and the actions of those involved. Factors such as lighting, visibility, and the location where the crash occurred may provide information about the events leading up to an accident.
Evidence from the scene, vehicle damage, and bicycle condition can also help explain how a collision happened. Road design and traffic flow may be considered when reviewing areas where cyclists and vehicles share the roadway.
