Las Vegas, NV (June 6, 2026) – A 23-year-old motorcyclist died early on Saturday after a collision involving an SUV at an intersection in Las Vegas.
The crash occurred at approximately 3:25 a.m. on June 6 at East Warm Springs Road and Gilespie Street. According to investigators, a 2010 Nissan Pathfinder traveling north on Placid Street entered the intersection from a posted stop sign and moved into the path of a westbound 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 650 traveling on Warm Springs Road.
The motorcycle’s front struck the passenger side of the SUV. The rider was ejected and came to rest north of the intersection on Placid Street. Emergency personnel transported him to UMC Trauma, where he later died. His identity has not been released pending notification of his family.
The driver of the SUV sustained minor injuries and remained at the scene. Police said he showed no signs of impairment and cooperated with investigators.
