Greenville Co., SC (August 17, 2026) – A 52-year-old motorcyclist died, and his passenger was injured on Saturday afternoon, August 15, in a head-on collision on Geer Highway near Club Terrace Drive. The crash happened at approximately 12:42 p.m.
According to the initial report, the motorcycle crossed the center line and struck a minivan traveling in the opposite direction. The motorcycle was carrying two people.
The rider, identified as Samuel Owens, died from his injuries. His passenger was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Six people were inside the minivan, and none were hurt. Investigators continue reviewing the circumstances surrounding the crash.
