American Falls, ID (August 17, 2026) – Three people were injured early on Saturday morning, August 15, in a two-vehicle collision on State Highway 39 near American Falls. The crash happened at approximately 4:32 a.m.
According to the initial report, a 2014 Buick Verano moved into the southbound lane and sideswiped a 2017 Ford F-150. The Buick was driven by a 53-year-old Boise woman and also carried a 32-year-old woman and a 12-year-old passenger from Boise.
The Buick driver was flown by air ambulance for treatment. Both passengers were taken to a local hospital by ground ambulance. The 18-year-old Ford driver and an 18-year-old passenger, both from Aberdeen, were not taken to a hospital. Authorities continue reviewing the collision.
