Valley Center, KS (July 29, 2026) – A fatal motorcycle collision on Meridian near 109th Street North claimed the life of a 46-year-old Wichita rider Monday night, July 27, shortly after 9 p.m.
According to the preliminary investigation, Guerrero Moreno Jr. was riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle southbound on Meridian when he entered the northbound lanes for reasons that remain unknown. A northbound Toyota RAV4 then struck Moreno and the motorcycle. Moreno was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Toyota driver, a 68-year-old Sedgwick woman, suffered minor injuries and was taken to an area hospital for treatment. Our deepest sympathies go out to Guerrero Moreno Jr.’s family and loved ones.
