Greer, SC (August 25, 2026) – A 33-year-old motorcyclist died on Sunday night after a two-vehicle crash involving a car and motorcycle in Greer.
The crash happened shortly after 8 p.m. at W Wade Hampton Blvd and Hillcrest Dr. The motorcyclist was taken to Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 9:17 p.m.
The Greenville County Coroner’s Office identified the man as James Kelsey Combs of Taylors. His cause of death was ruled blunt force injuries, and the manner of death was classified as accidental.
An external examination was scheduled for Monday as the investigation into the collision continued. Our condolences go to Combs’ family, friends, and loved ones.
