Waldorf, MD (August 25, 2026) – Emergency units assisted at a serious two-vehicle collision on Billingsley Road that left multiple people injured and involved three dogs. The collision was reported at about 5:32 p.m. on Sunday, August 23, near 10660 Billingsley Road and Crain Highway.
Initial dispatch information indicated that a Tahoe crossed or jumped the median before hitting a 2026 Jaguar head-on. The Tahoe driver was initially believed to be trapped, but crews later confirmed that no occupants remained trapped inside either vehicle.
As many as five people were initially reported hurt. Later updates identified at least three patients, including two adults and one child. The Jaguar driver was also reported to be in obvious pain.
Both vehicles were smoking, and the Jaguar battery was reportedly sparking. Three dogs were also inside the vehicles, with one described as barely breathing. Animal control was contacted to assist with the animals.
The extent of the injuries had not been released. The cause of the collision remains under review as more information is gathered.
