Waldorf, MD (August 25, 2026) – Emergency units handled a serious two-vehicle collision Sunday evening, August 23, on Billingsley Rd in Waldorf that left multiple people hurt and involved three dogs.
The collision was reported at about 5:32 p.m. near 10660 Billingsley Rd and Crain Hwy. Initial dispatch information stated that a Tahoe crossed or jumped the median before striking a 2026 Jaguar head-on.
The Tahoe driver was initially reported trapped inside the vehicle, but crews later confirmed that no occupants remained trapped. The Jaguar driver was reported to be in obvious pain.
Initial calls indicated that as many as five people could have been hurt. Later updates identified at least three patients, including two adults and one child.
Both vehicles were smoking after the wreck, and the Jaguar’s battery was reportedly sparking.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation as additional details are gathered.
