Phoenix, AZ (August 21, 2026) – A motorcyclist was hurt on Wednesday, August 19, after a collision near 23rd Ave and Grand Ave in central Phoenix. The rider was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Traffic cameras showed debris scattered across the intersection and a motorcycle lying in the roadway. Grand Ave near Encanto Blvd was closed in both directions for several hours before reopening shortly before 11:30 a.m.
