Ellsinore, MO (August 29, 2026) – A 58-year-old motorcyclist was seriously hurt on Thursday afternoon when a Ford F-150 struck his Harley-Davidson on US 60. The accident happened around 3:38 p.m. on August 27, about six miles east of Ellsinore near Hwy B.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a 64-year-old Grandin woman was traveling west on US 60. She turned left toward the eastbound side of the highway and struck the motorcycle traveling east.
The Tennessee man was taken by air to SSM Health St. Louis University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Both vehicles sustained total damage and were towed from the site. The circumstances surrounding the collision are still being reviewed.
