Camden County, MO (July 25, 2026) – A 23-year-old motorcyclist was seriously hurt in a traffic collision at the intersection of Oakbend Rd. and Irish Dr. in Camden County on Thursday, July 23.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 1990 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling northbound when the driver made a left turn into the path of a westbound Kawasaki motorcycle. The report stated that a hill obstructed the view of both drivers before the wreck occurred. The motorcycle sustained total damage, while the pickup received minor damage.
The motorcycle rider, a 23-year-old man from Potosi, was flown to University Hospital by air ambulance for treatment. The Silverado was driven from the roadway, while the motorcycle was removed by a private party. The cause of the accident remains under review as investigators continue to examine the available evidence.
