Nashville, TN (August 3, 2026) – Two people were taken to the hospital after a multi-vehicle crash on Kennedy Avenue between Norvel Avenue and McChesney Avenue in Nashville’s Inglewood neighborhood on Saturday, August 1. The collision also briefly disrupted power for nearby residents.
The crash forced the closure of all travel lanes along the affected stretch of Kennedy Avenue while emergency units responded to the scene. Neighbors reported hearing a loud noise before noticing their lights flicker. Initial emergency reports indicated the crash may have been fatal, but officials later confirmed that two people were transported from the scene. Their conditions have not been released.
