Fresno, CA (July 30, 2026) — Two people were hospitalized after a three-vehicle collision at Maple and Butler avenues in southeast Fresno on Tuesday, July 28.
Fresno police said two vehicles were traveling along Butler Avenue when a third vehicle headed south on Maple Avenue entered the intersection against a red light and struck them.
Emergency crews had to free the driver of the southbound vehicle from the wreckage. The two people taken to the hospital were expected to recover. The investigation into the full sequence of events remains ongoing.
