Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ (August 7, 2026) ā Multiple people were hurt on Wednesday morning in a three-vehicle accident on Interstate 80 eastbound in Parsippany-Troy Hills Township.
The wreck was reported around 5:14 a.m. near milepost 45.3. A Kenworth dump truck and a Ford van were traveling east when the dump truck struck the rear of the van, sending it into the center median.
The dump truck also hit the median before striking a Tesla that had been disabled on the left shoulder after an earlier crash. The Kenworth driver, the Tesla driver and passenger, and several passengers in the Ford were taken to nearby hospitals with minor injuries.
No other injuries were reported. The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under review, with additional details pending.
