Donnelly, ID (August 7, 2026) – One person died, and three others were seriously injured on Wednesday, August 5, in a two-vehicle collision on State Highway 55 near milepost 135, north of Donnelly. The crash occurred at approximately 5:34 p.m.
A 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLC driven by a 74-year-old McCall man and a 1999 Toyota Tacoma carrying three teenagers were involved. The vehicles met head-on after the Mercedes crossed the center line.
A passenger in the Tacoma died at the scene. The other two teenagers and the Mercedes driver received serious injuries and were flown to a nearby hospital.
Authorities continue to review the accident to determine the full circumstances. We extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the person who lost their life and hope those injured make a full recovery.
