First responders were dispatched to the eastbound lanes of Interstate 691 near Exits 5 and 3 after receiving reports of a collision involving several vehicles. The Connecticut Department of Transportation reported the crash at approximately 11:32 a.m. Emergency units arrived and evaluated those involved.
