What to Know About Multi-Vehicle Crashes
Crashes involving several vehicles can happen when traffic conditions change quickly or when one vehicle collides with another and triggers additional impacts. Multiple damaged vehicles can also create obstacles for other drivers.
Drivers approaching a collision scene should slow down and watch for emergency crews, debris, and stopped vehicles. Leaving extra space can give drivers more time to react to unexpected hazards.
