Murfreesboro, TN (January 10, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a multi-vehicle crash involving a Murfreesboro City Schools bus on Friday evening on SE Broad Street near Kensington Place Ct.
The incident occurred around 5:00 p.m. on January 9, according to the Murfreesboro Police Department. The collision involved three vehicles: a school bus, a van, and a car. While no injuries were reported among the students or staff on the bus, one person from another vehicle sustained injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Emergency responders arrived quickly at the scene to assist the injured party and ensure the safety of those on the bus. As a precaution, all students were transferred to a second bus and safely relocated from the crash site.
Traffic along SE Broad Street was affected as crews worked to manage the scene and clear the vehicles involved. The extent of the injured individual’s condition has not yet been released.
