Lancaster, CA (August 30, 2026) – An accident involving two vehicles was reported around 2:23 a.m. Friday, August 28, on the southbound State Route 14 near Silver Queen Road, with injuries reported at the scene.
Early reports indicated that one vehicle overturned and came to rest on its side, while the other left the roadway and entered the desert. Both vehicles were later found off the main roadway. Fire and emergency crews responded to the scene, and two tow trucks were requested to remove the damaged vehicles.
At least one overturned vehicle required additional assistance as crews worked to clear the area. This is a developing story.
