NEW BRAUNFELS, Comal County, Texas, Sept. 15, 2026 — One person died in a high-speed crash Saturday evening, September 12, at the intersection of Klein Road and FM 725 in New Braunfels, according to authorities. A juvenile was also hurt and taken to a hospital by ground ambulance.
Authorities were dispatched to the intersection around 7:03 p.m. and found the fatality along with one patient listed in critical condition, reportedly a juvenile. Radio traffic indicated the injured patient ran into a nearby field before being located and transported.
