New Orleans, LA (February 2, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a serious vehicle crash involving entrapment on February 1 at the intersection of Washington Ave and Loyola Ave in New Orleans. The incident occurred around 5:00 p.m. and prompted a major rescue response, including Engine 1, Ladder 8, Rescue 2, and multiple command units.
According to dispatch audio, at least one person was reported trapped inside a vehicle following the collision. Firefighters and medics worked on-site to extricate the individual and provide urgent medical evaluation. The extent of the victim’s injuries has not yet been confirmed, but the presence of entrapment prompted a full-scale emergency operation.
