New Orleans, LA (January 24, 2026) – A tragic incident unfolded early Saturday morning in eastern New Orleans when a pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle in the 11,000 block of Lincoln Beach Boulevard.
Officers with the New Orleans Police Department responded to the scene shortly after receiving the initial call around 4:50 a.m. Upon arrival, emergency medical services located a 60-year-old man who had sustained fatal injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Details regarding the circumstances leading up to the collision have not been released. Investigators were seen working the area as police began a full inquiry into what caused the deadly crash.
