Newstead, NY (January 25, 2026) – A serious rollover accident in Erie County on Saturday resulted in injuries to five individuals, including four children, according to reports from the Newstead Fire Department and Erie County Sheriff’s Office.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene at the intersection of Martin Rd and Scotland Rd following reports of a single-vehicle rollover. Responders arrived to find an overturned vehicle with multiple occupants, prompting a coordinated rescue effort.
According to ECSO, the crash left five people injured. Four of the victims were children, and one adult also sustained injuries. Paramedics provided immediate care on-site and arranged for transportation to area hospitals for further treatment. The extent of the injuries has not yet been made public, but the presence of pediatric patients prompted heightened response efforts.
