How Multi-Vehicle Crashes Often Happen on Busy Roads
Crashes involving several vehicles often begin with a single impact that leads to a chain reaction. When cars are traveling close together, drivers may not have enough time to stop after the first collision occurs.
Head-on crashes are especially dangerous because they involve vehicles moving in opposite directions. The force of impact is usually higher, which can lead to more serious outcomes compared to other types of accidents.
Road conditions, visibility at night, and driver reaction time can all influence how these crashes unfold. On busy roads, even a brief moment of distraction or a sudden lane shift can quickly affect multiple vehicles at once.
