Norfolk, VA (January 10, 2026) – A crash with reported injuries occurred inside the eastbound lanes of the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel on January 9, drawing a large emergency response and causing traffic delays for drivers heading toward Norfolk.
The incident happened shortly after 3:26 p.m., just before vehicles entered the eastbound tube. Emergency units, including Medic 13, Engine 13, and Fire 13, responded to the scene, where at least one person was reported injured. The full scope of injuries has not yet been confirmed by authorities.
