North Hollywood, CA (January 19, 2026) – A multi-vehicle collision with injuries was reported Saturday night in the North Hollywood area at the intersection of Cartwright Ave and Whitnall Hwy, drawing a swift response from emergency teams.
The incident occurred around 9:16 p.m., with several individuals reportedly involved. Medics arriving at the scene treated at least one person for injuries sustained in the crash. That individual was later transported to a nearby medical center for further care. The exact nature of their injuries has not yet been released.
Multiple vehicles were seen with moderate to significant damage, blocking lanes at the intersection. Witnesses described the sound of the crash as loud and sudden, with nearby residents quickly calling for help. Traffic in the area was impacted temporarily as authorities worked to manage the scene and remove the damaged vehicles.
